As a comedian, I love working with other funny people. So when I had the opportunity to photograph up-and-coming comedian and mom Erika Bang, I jumped at the chance.

First of all, let me just say that Erika is a total badass. Not only is she a hilarious stand-up comedian, but she's also a mother of little baby and also works full-time. Talk about multi-tasking!

When we met up for the photoshoot, I could immediately tell that Erika had a great sense of humor. We started off with some more traditional headshots, but as the shoot went on, things got more and more fun- we shot some awesome images to use on her social media.

What I loved most about working with Erika was her ability to find humor in everyday situations. She told me stories about her experiences as a mom and a daughter, and I was cracking up the whole time. It's not easy to make someone laugh while they're holding a camera, but Erika had me in stitches.

I am excited for Erika as she navigates comedy— if you see her name on a lineup— go see her!

She's relatively new to the comedy scene, but she's already making a name for herself with her unique perspective and infectious energy. And as a fellow comedian, I know just how hard it can be to break into this industry. But Erika has the talent and the drive to go far, and I can't wait to see what she does next.
