Remembering Kate Urquhart

Late comedian Kate Urquhart was known for her quick wit, unfailing friendship, and infectious laugh. But what many may not have known was that she had a passion for music and loved to play Rock Band.

I photographed at home playing Rock Band with her girlfriend Barb, her best friend Greg in the background, and her dog Casey in the foreground. The photo captured a moment of pure joy and fun, and it's a testament to Kate's personality and spirit.

In the background of the photo, you can see Greg, who used to have a podcast with Kate and Barb called Waiting for the Pizza. I was a guest on the show multiple times, and the conversations were always filled with laughter. Greg was one of Kate's closest friends.
